A Sample from Ballet Class

Ice Skating

Today Ava went ice skating with her class. I was a chaperone so I got to see her first time on skates. She loved it and caught on quick! Now she begins her nine day thanksgiving break!

Dance

Tap/Ballet

On Thurs. evenings Ava takes a dance class where she learns ballet and tap. Tonight was a visitors night, so parents were allowed to watch. Ava did a great job. I was surprised to see how much they learned in only a couple of months.

Native American

Today at Ava's school they re-enacted the first thanksgiving with k-2 grade. Half the class dressed as Native Americans and the other dressed as Pilgrims. As you see, Ava choose to be an Indian. She looks pretty worn out in the photo above. It was a busy day!

The feathers on Ava's headpiece got a little crumbled on the way home in her bookbag.

Brendan and I stopped in to see the kids while they ate their delicious feast. It was very cute.

TRICK OR TREATING

Halloween night was beautiful! The temperature was perfect, so everybody had a great time. We were fortunate to have been spared from the recent snowstorm that everybody around us got hit with, so their wasn't any snow on the sidewalks or roads. Here is the crew at the first stop of the night.
