Little Piano Man

Brendan really enjoys playing my keyboard, so I just put it on the floor and now he can just play away.
He likes that sound.

Swimming Lessons

Ava began swimming lessons this morning. She goes every weekday morning at 8:00 am for two weeks.
She is the second kid in with a pink suit and pony tail.
Here she is under water.
There she goes!

Brendan's New Friend

When Brendan saw this doll of Ava's this morning he just went nuts, He was talking to it and touching it. He really thought it was real so I put them both on the floor to play.
"Mom, she's not really as much fun as Elsie was."

Brendan's showing his me his noisy block.

(Looking at these pictures, it might be time for Brendan's first haircut.)

We want to wish Brad a Happy Birthday!

Happy Belated Birthday to Grandma H. We hope that you had a great day!
I remember when I was younger we used to share birthday cakes since our birthdays are so close:)

Playing at Elsie's House

We went to Elsie's house tp play yesterday. Brendan had a great day playing with Elsie and her toys.
This photo is blurry but I thought that the look on Brendan's face was cute. This is right after a kiss on the cheek from Elsie.
Rocking in the chair.
I got to watch Elsie for a little while when
Jessie went to do errands. I was very impressed that I was able to get both babies to sleep at the same time.

Fun at Georgia's Game

Emmy enjoyed a nice drink of water. She is so active that she must work up quite a thirst.
I just have to enjoy the time I have with Brendan being immobile, because as Emmy showed us last night that once they get a handle on walking, they move fast! Jenny and Brad get quite a workout.
Here is pretty Josie.
Ava had a great time playing with Josie and Josie's friends,
There goes little Emmy. What a cutie!

Georgia's Game

Georgia had a softball game in the town next door from us last night, so I thought it would be a great chance to watch Georgia play another game while letting the cousins play. (Playing with her cousins is Ava's favorite past time.) Georgia played very well. Up above she is warming up for her turn at bat. Doesn't she have a great stance?
Here she is- Running to first base after a great hit! She had many great hits!
Here she is back at homeplate scoring a point for her team! Great Job!
Here she is after making a run. Doesn't she look proud? As she should be!
I bet that this game really boosted her confidence and I bet her next game will be even better. I am just happy that she is doing her best and having a lot of FUN!!!
Great Job Georgia!

MeMe

My Aunt Joanne at tenkidsandadog.blogspot.com sent me this meme to do.

The first thing I thought today: What day it was today. Since Ava has been done with Preschool, its hard to keep track.

The first thing I ate today: A bite of Brendan’s cereal. (to make sure it wasn’t to hot)

The first thing I drank today: coffee

The first thing I said today: " Good morning Brendan." He is especially smiley first thing in the morning.

The first action I did today: Carried Brendan downstairs to change him and feed him breakfast, after checking on Ava. She slept in this morning.

The first thing I read today: The back of the cereal box while I was feeding Brendan. The first item of clothing I put on today: Brown sweatpants and one of Paul’s grey t-shirts. I had no plans to go anywhere today so why dress up, right? We may go to Georgia’s softball game tonight, an if we do, I will put on real clothes for that!

The first person I spoke to today: Brendan

The first chore I did today: Dishes.

The first blog I visited today: Our Elsie Rae of Sunshine.blogspot.com. I usually check Jessie’s blog first and then use the links off hers to check the others.

Brothers and Sisters

Tea Party

Tea for me.
Tea for you.

Posing for Pictures

We had nothing to do this afternoon, so I dressed the kids up and took some photos. Ava kind of enjoyed it but Brendan was less than thrilled.
It looks like Ava is telling Brendan a secret. Brendan doesn't seem impressed.
Awww, they sure love each other.Brendan always lights up when he sees Ava, especially in the morning.

Pool Time

We have another water baby!
This little ham had no problem getting wet. I don't blame him, it has been very HOT!
All he needs is a cold drink and he's got it made.
Here he is with Dad!
Ava is a water lover too!
It was a great day to spend by the pool.

A Simple Joy of Childhood

Swinging from a tree. Wow that looks fun! I wish I could still do that!
As you have probaly seen, Ava and Brendan practically have a little playground in the backyard. A couple of years ago a swingset display at the store where Paul works was damaged, so it was going to be thrown in the dumpster. Paul brought it home and created as very cool swingset. We just put this rope swing up. Very cool! We love summer time!

More Graduation Photos

This is Ava in her new school t-shirt after we got home Friday night. For some reason some of my pictures are turning out blurry. I hope I don't need a new camera.
Everyday after Preschool the kids would run ahead of the parents and hide in this doorway and then shout "BOO" as the parents walked by, and everytime the parents would act surprised. This never got old. Anyway I took a photo of Ava in the doorway for old times sake.

A Little Graduate

Ava graduated from Preschool Friday night. We are so proud of her. The kids sang songs and told poems, they got their diplomas and then we all had cake. Itis hard for me to beleive that she has finished two great years of preschool and now she is onto kindergarten. It has been kind of sad for me.
Here is Ava getting her Diploma.
Here she is with her class. ( I put hearts over the names on the diplomas) All of the other parents and I decided that we are going to did these photos out when they graduate high school in the year 2021! These will be good yearbook photos.
Here is Ava with the girls! There were six kids in her preschool class and there are only ten in her kindergarten class for the fall! It is a very small class.

Ava celebrating with a friend.
