I Heart Faces (Black and White)
I caught Ava off guard with this camera snap while she was sitting on the couch watching a movie. She has a sad look on her face. (maybe it was a sad part in the movie) I was just playing around with my camera and happened to catch her looking at me. I like the contrast of light and dark on her face. The sun from the window was shining in.

Baby Sam
My computer hasn't been working well the past week or so, so I really haven't been online much to put up any posts. (if anybody wondered)
I stopped into the hospital yesterday to see baby Samuel who is sick with pneumonia. He is such a beautiful baby.
Here he is after a feeding. he was awake when I got there so I got to see him alert for awhile.
This is how the poor little guy has to spend most of his day. Oxygen is blown into this plastic tent around him.
He also has an IV delivering fluids and medicine and a neb treatment every four hours. When I held him, I whispered in his ear to get better soon! I think he'll listen!
Keep the prayers coming for baby Sam, Jessie, Matt and Elsie!

Poor Jessie and Matt are so tired! Yesterday was also Jessie's birthday! The way she's looking at Sam, she's already got her present!
Keep the prayers coming for baby Sam, Jessie, Matt and Elsie!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY TO EVERYONE!
I hope that everybody is having a happy valentines day. This afternoon Brendan and I took Ava to a school pool party. We all went out to dinner tonight as well. As you can see the kids got showered with valentines in the mail this year.
These cards were the first to arrive sent from Grandma and Grandpa Hesler. Ava was so proud of her valentine that she took it to school for show and tell the next day. They have been having lots of fun with their stickers as well. Thank you!

Brendan Watching For Trucks
Award
I received this award from my Aunt Joanne! Thank you Joanne! I love looking at your blog too! I loved the pictures of the family out in the snow. Ava loves seeing what her second cousins are up to as well. She really thought it was neat that Grayce was learning about money, because that is something shes learning right now. We really liked that coin poem!
I don't know enough other bloggers and even though she just started, I will pass this award to my sister Theresa!
(Cassie, you should start a blog too! You can show off all your pets! Ava would love it!)

Brendan Loves Trucks
Brendan absolutely loves cars, trucks, trains, etc. so when Paul brought his big truck home this weekend Brendan went nuts! If you look close you can see Brendan in the drivers seat with Paul pretending to drive. I didn't get a good picture because my batteries died. This is the only one I was able to get. When we came back inside he kept running to the window excited yelling, "Wooooow! Truk! Brrrrrrrrm brrrrrrrrm!" Very Cute!

Visit
Friday evening Grandma and Grandpa Gifford and Russell stopped over for a visit. It was a very short lived visit because Ava had just thrown up with the beginning of a stomach bug about five minutes before they arrived. (She is starting to feel much better today)
Brendan just loved Uncle Russell. He showed him some of his trucks.

Here is Grandma holding Brendan to his disapproval. He still hasn't gotten over his shyness!
Earlier in the day I had lined up all of Brendan's trucks. He was amazed to see how many he has. I try to find things to keep him busy during the day to minimize him following me around at the bottom of my feet. I poked holes in the lid of a coffee can and he loves poking crayons through the holes. I was amazed at how long this keeps his attention!
