I promised Ava that we would go for a walk this evening after dinner. We ended up having a later than normal dinner so it was dark, but a promise is a promise. Here are the dog and Brendan greeting us in the window when we got back.

We walked to the icy river and Ava threw some stones across the ice. Pretty soon the icebreaker will go through and we'll see open water and ships again!
