Big Sandy Bay on Wolfe Island

After we got off the ferry and went through customs, we drove to the Beabh. To get to the beach, we had to hike, twenty minutes down this nature trail.
It was very hot and there were tons of mosquitos and blackflies because the trail went right through a swamp. It was worth it because we saw butterflies, and a deer crossed the path in front of us. We looked for turtles at the turtle crossing. but we didn't spot any, although I'm sure they were there.
At the end of the path was an "island paradise."

Here is Ava in front of a sand dune. Some were almost as tall as a house.
